Prerequisites: Intro to ArabicBeginner III, & III.

Arabic Beginner 4 is the final course of Beginner Arabic level. Strong emphasis will be placed on acquiring conversational and comprehension skills, using practical and interesting situational materials that will stress both language and culture. This course will enable students to read and write Modern Standard Arabic (the language of radio, television, and newspapers throughout the Arab World), as well as to enable them to communicate in Modern Standard Arabic at a very basic level. This course aims to enable students to further consolidate their reading and writing skills in MSA. This course covers chapters 12-13 of Al-Kitaab Part I. By the end of this course, students will be speaking at a novice high II plus level according to the ACTFL scale.
