Veysel Tekdal is a PhD degree candidate at the Middle East Technical University in the Department of Area Studies and also has a research affiliation with the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University as a visiting PhD student. His research mainly focuses on China's political economy and the global political economy. He recently published a paper on the Belt and Road Initiative in the Pacific Review. (Last updated in 12/17)
