Md. Muddassir Quamar is Associate Fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, New Delhi. Dr. Quamar, who earned a doctorate in Middle East studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, has published a number of research articles in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Quamar regularly contributes opinion article for think tanks and media. He was a Visiting Fellow in King Faisal Center, Riyadh and serves as Associate Editor of Contemporary Review of the Middle East. His co-authored book India’s Saudi Policy: Bridge to the Future (Palgrave Macmillan) is due for release later this year.
