Aziz Hakimi is Country Director of Future Generations in Afghanistan, an international non-profit NGO and parallel graduate school that builds local capacity worldwide through a Master’s Degree in Applied Community Change and Conservation. He has worked as policy advisor for President Hamid Karzai and as Human Rights Advisor with the United Nations in Pakistan and Afghanistan. He also directed an Afghan media NGO and expanded independent radio broadcasts and the distribution of weekly publications to Afghanistan’s provinces.
