Arabic Beginner III
Arabic Beginner III is the third of Beginning Arabic classes. In this course, students are able to apply the vocabulary and grammar skills they have learned in the previous levels and combine them with new skills in order to conduct practical conversations that can be used for situations such as, traveling in an airport, going to the grocery store, and discussing the weather. This course will be based on the final three chapters of Al-Kitaab, Part 1, chapters 9-11. In these chapters, students will learn vocabulary related to travel, entertainment, and personal interactions. Students will continue to learn verb conjugations, which will further develop conversational skills. By the end of this course, students will be speaking at a novice high II level according to the ACTFL scale.
