Prerequisites: Intro to ArabicBeginner IIIIII, & IV, and Intermediate III, & III. Students who have just completed the Arabic Intermediate levels should enroll in this course. 

Advanced Arabic is the first course of the Advanced MSA series. This course will give students the opportunity to utilize all the skills and vocabulary they have acquired in previous levels and apply them to reading, writing and conversation. At this level, students will learn how to utilize sentence structure and create substantial flow in a written paragraph or verbal conversation. Advanced Arabic introduces students to topics regularly discussed in Arab media, such as politics, religion, literature, and art. By the end of this course, students are expected to converse at an advanced-low level according to the ACTFL scale.
