Arabic Intermediate III

Prerequisites: Intro to ArabicBeginner IIIIII, & IV, and Intermediate I & II.

Arabic Intermediate 3 is the final course of the Intermediate level. The goal of this course is for students to conduct conversations for extended periods of time on a wide variety of subjects, all which are considered common communicative tasks or social situations. Students should be able to ask questions and provide narratives in uncomplicated terms. This course follows Arabiyyat al-Naas (Part Two), which builds vocabulary on settings such as time and location. Aside from speaking skills, students should be able to compose written paragraphs. By the end of this course, students should be able to converse at the intermediate high level on the ACTFL scale.

Required textbook: Arabiyyat al-Naas (Part Two).
